As the family goes, so goes the nation, and so goes the whole world in which we live.
Pope St. John PaUL II
At the heart of the Fairest Love Family Project is a simple but powerful belief: that the renewal of society begins in the home, and that Mary, Mother of Fairest Love, is uniquely positioned to lead us toward that renewal.
A Mission Rooted in Love
We exist to bring families closer to Jesus through a deepening devotion to His mother, Mary, Mother of Fairest Love. In a world of confusion, isolation, and disconnection, we look to her as the model of maternal care, profound fidelity, and transformative love.
This title, Mother of Fairest Love, comes from the Book of Sirach (“I am the mother of fair love…” – Sirach 24:24) and has long been associated with Mary in Catholic tradition. It speaks not just to the purity and beauty of Mary’s love, but to the kind of love she forms within us: strong, self-giving, and oriented toward God. It’s the kind of love that every family needs, and every family can grow in through her help.
This mission draws deeply from the teachings of two towering saints of our time: St. John Paul II and St. Josemaría Escrivá. St. John Paul II’s insight, “As the family goes, so goes the nation, and so goes the whole world in which we live,” reminds us that renewal in the world must begin in the home. His rich Marian devotion lived and taught throughout his papacy, and his 1994 letter to families serves as the foundation for turning to Mary, Mother of Fairest Love, for all our familial needs.
Similarly, St. Josemaría’s constant invitation to find God in the ordinary moments of daily life, including work, marriage, and parenting, offers a spiritual blueprint for families striving for holiness today. In his life, he saw the great need for devotion to the Mother of Fairest Love and suggested a Shrine be built in North America for this purpose.
What We Do:
Our mission has two complementary pillars:
1. Growing Devotion to Mary, Mother of Fairest Love
Through beautifully written prayers and the novena, prayer cards, traveling statues, and sacred art, we aim to introduce the world to this title of Mary, an image of motherhood and love the modern world desperately needs. We accompany individuals and families as they deepen their relationship with Mary, Mater Pulchrae Dilectionis (Mother of Fairest Love).
2. Supporting the Family Today
We offer practical, spiritual, and emotional support to families navigating the challenges of modern life. Whether you’re feeling overwhelmed, stretched thin, or simply yearning to build a home filled with faith, beauty, and peace, our resources are for you. From seasonal blog content and podcasts to our prayer circle and community outreach, we help families live out their Catholic faith with joy, resilience, and hope.
Looking Ahead
We believe that the world is ready for a renewal of love, and that it starts with a groundswell of devotion to Mary, Mother of Fairest Love. While our work today lives mostly online and in homes, parishes, and hearts across the country, our eyes are fixed on the future.
We have secured land outside of Los Angeles for a future permanent shrine in her honor. Though this holy place has yet to be built, our mission right now is to prepare the way – to spark a movement of prayer, healing, and devotion strong enough that future generations will be ready to raise walls for Our Mother.
Until then, every podcast download, every blog post read, every prayer card handed out, and every family consecrated to her care is part of laying that foundation, not just physically, but spiritually.
